Marina and Resort Development

Water Cay Marina and Resort Development

 

Erickson Consulting Engineers (ECE) is providing coastal and marine engineering services for the development of Water Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Dellis Cay Marina and Resort Development

 

Erickson Consulting Engineers (ECE) is contracted to develop coastal and marine plans and designs, storm impact assessments and wave loads and jetty designs for the Dellis Cay Master Development Plan. The services include beach restoration, channels and canals, groynes and a marina. The initial planning phase is complete and permit applications have been submitted for the Coastal and Marine Engineering projects. An Environmental Impact Assessment for the entire island’s Masterplan was prepared and the final permit applications filed in the summer of 2006. Construction is expected to commence in early 2007. ECE is working to obtain all TCI regulatory permits for the marine and infrastructure components of this 400 + acre development. Construction commenced in March 2008.

Cooper Jack Marina

 

Karyn M. Erickson, P.E. as project manager for a 35 acre marina basin and condominium development, the Cooper Jack Marina project included field studies, numerical modeling of flushing to design the basin, shoreline stabilization, basin entrance channel design and permit drawings and environmental assessment preparation for esacquisition of permits.
